Helping Me Grow - Friend

Good morning and happy Monday!  Were you able to stop by over the weekend?  I shared TWO sneak peeks of the new Stampin' Up! catalogue items on Saturday and Sunday, so if you missed them, make sure to scroll down the page and see the last couple of blog posts - there's some super cute new products coming that you won't want to miss, and info on how you can get a catalogue from me (or even order the products NOW if you just can't wait!)

It's Monday, though, and we are going to continue on with our retiring features.  Today's set is a beauty - Helping Me Grow.

First of all - I have a confession.  I have had this set for over a year, and yesterday was the very first time I've inked it up.

And I immediately regretted neglecting it.

Isn't it lovely?!  There are two bold flower images, perfect for watercolouring, and a huge selection of graphics, frames, and sentiments, which layer beautifully together for this collaged background.  Let's have a closer look at the stamp set:

It has a very sketched, hand-drawn look to it, which I just love.  It's a really beautiful set, and I'm so sorry I overlooked it for so long - especially when it was on my shelf this whole time!

I keep aiming to make a card where every single item I use (except the cardstock and inks, of course!) is retiring - and I was SO close this time, but I blew it with the little bit of threads from the burlap ribbon.  Other than that, though, this card will be impossible to recreate if you don't hurry over to my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! Store and get your SHOP on!   Helping Me Grow and the Gold Wink of Stella pen - shown "flicked" onto the image - are both retiring on May 31.  Don't miss out!

Want a little extra something with your order?  Of course you do!  Use this month's host code - JX26H4GM - at checkout to receive a bundle of free Stampin' Up! patterned paper, ribbons, and embellishments in the mail.  Just a little thank you gift for your support of my business!

Have a fabulous day - see you again tomorrow!

Cheers,
Shannon
