Special Delivery - A Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop featuring Merry Little Labels

Hello friends, and welcome to another Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop!  We are the official design team of Stampin' Up!  I'm so happy you're joining me, Shannon, in beautiful Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  Whether you're coming from the fabulous Rochelle Blok or starting here, I hope you get cozy and share in our creativity this month!

We are hopping this month to share a gorgeous christmas stamp set called Merry Little Labels and its coordinating Designer Series Paper, called Merry Little Christmas.  I just love the basic and beautiful black and white patterns in this paper, so I decided to modify the stamps a little and create some winter baby cards!

I'm a big advocate for celebrating everything else that life has to offer during the holidays - birthdays, weddings, new babies, etc. - with its own separate card.  So many times, a "P.S. happy birthday!" or "P.S. Congrats on the new addition!" is slipped into a holiday card, and these special occasions deserve their own recognition!  But with the Stampin' Up! 2017 Holiday Catalogue being packed full of beautiful supplies (and only available for a limited time!) I wanted to find a way to modify those gorgeous papers and stamps to fit something other than Christmas.

By covering up the bottom part of this stamp with masking tape, I could ink up everything but "from the north pole," turning this Christmas sentiment into a great greeting for a new baby!

And with so many gorgeous colours, there's one fit for every little prince or princess in your life...

Let's hop over to the lovely Sylwia in Germany and see what beautiful project she has designed for us!

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope these cards inspired you to think outside of the box with your Holiday Catalogue supplies!  See you later tonight for a Fancy Friday blog hop with my fancy friends!
