Inside The Lines DSP

Hi friends!  I'm either super late or super early getting today's post up... it's almost 2am here and I'm finally heading off to bed - but I wanted to stop in first and share another project!  I'm happy to say this late night was worth it, as I just finished my display stamping projects for On Stage 2017 - with over a week to spare!  Yay!  I'm so excited to share those with you, but you'll have to wait until mid-April after the new Stampin' Up! annual catalogue has become available for demonstrators!

But before we get to April, we need to finish up March!  We are in the final days of Sale-A-Bration and I know you won't want to miss out on the fabulous and free items available.  Today's focus: the Inside The Lines designer series paper!

This paper is gorgeous - beautiful, detailed line drawings in black and white.  It's so on-trend right now with the massive colouring phenomenon... but I'm not into colouring, and I still love this paper!  It makes a stunning background, with or without colour.  But if leaving it plain isn't your thing, you can colour it, stamp it, emboss it, spritz it, sponge it, roll it... the sky's the limit!

It's free with a $60 order, but only until March 31 - don't miss out!

I'll be back tomorrow - by which I mean later today, of course - for a Fancy Friday blog hop.  See you in about 19 hours!

Carried Away Balloon Birthday

Hi again, friends!  I'm stopping in again today to share another Sale-A-Bration goodie with you before it's gone!  On deck today:  Carried Away Designer Series Paper!

This paper is so amazing for three big reasons - the prints, which are totally gorgeous, the amazing colour pallet, and the price: FREE!  I never would've guessed to put these colours together, but they work SO beautifully.  Plus both balloons and these colours are fabulously gender-neutral, so you can easily whip up some birthday cards by the dozen!  I used the same design as above and morphed it into a birthday card with a few simple changes - easy peasy!

Again, this paper is absolutely FREE with your order of $60, but Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31 - don't miss out!  It pairs perfectly with the Lift Me Up bundle, which is shown here as well - what a great combo!

See you again tomorrow for another Sale-A-Bration goodie you won't want to miss!

Everyday Hero

Hey friends!  Just a quick stop-in today before I go lie down again - I'm dealing with a bum knee again for some unknown reason and this girl needs to get off her feet and go ice it!  I feel like I'm 102 years old right now, and lemme tell you, it's no fun.  A walk around Costco was enough to do me in, and my knee is leaps and bounds better today than it has been since Thursday.  Ugh!

Today's card is another oldie that's been hanging around for a while -  I need to get these things uploaded because Sale-A-Bration is coming to an end in just a few days!

So why does that matter?  Because RIBBON, you guys.  SHINY RIBBON.  That beautiful woven silver ribbon.  It's another Sale-A-Bration freebie that you won't want to miss!  You'll want to make sure you grab it when you order, say... Everyday Hero, the Star Confetti punch, and some Watercolour Pencils?  That combo is the stuff dreams are made of and I love how they work together on this card.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go be an old lady with her ice pack who smells like Aspercreme.  Ciao, bellas!

Perfect Mix

Hello, lovelies!  I'm back from a fabulous weekend in the mountains at a crafting retreat - pure bliss!  No obligations and quality time with my inks and stamps.  Lots of goodies coming soon, but I wanted to share an old card first!

At the beginning of the Occasions Catalogue, my upline hosted a team swap; we each chose a stamp set and made cards, then swapped them all so we had a set of samples with lots of different ideas.  I chose Perfect Mix; I love the baking images!

I whipped up an adorable mixer card - which I loved - but it was TOTALLY impractical for a swap.

Can you guess why?  If you know the stamp set, I'm sure you can!  The mixer and the sentiment are actually both part of the same stamp, so to create the background, I had to mask it; cover the sentiment with masking tape, stamp in the ink, peel of the masking tape, and stamp on the card.  And there are 11 mixers on this card... What a nightmare that was going to be!  I loooove this card, but it is NOT perfect for mass-production!  Back to the drawing board...

This is the next design I came up with.  This one was a keeper!

This one was great!  Not too hard to cut the images, an easy background, and super cute.  Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party go great with Smoky Slate for a sweet colour combo.  A bit of Wink Of Stella on the measuring spoons adds the perfect shimmer!

I love swapping with my teammates, and this card was a blast to make.  I hope it inspires you to cook something up in your craft room!
