Inspiration is all around us, isn't it? Sometime's it's in advertising, a colour scheme in a great piece of clothing, or a kid's toy, and sometimes it's provided by other crafters. Today's post was inspired by another talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator named Jo Hooper - she created this beautiful frosted blue glass pop bottle that reminded me of a vintage Cherry Coke, and I just HAD to make my own version!
Have I mentioned before how much I love Cherry Coke? We don't get Cherry Coke in Canada - a trade off I'll happily take to live in this amazing country, but don't think I don't fill my trunk with cases of it whenever we drive to the states! A cheery Cherry Coke card was right up my alley, so once I finished that one, I just had to make another...
A couple of small changes - this one is simplified a little bit by using cardstock to cut the bottles - and I've got a second card for another Coke (a-Cola!) addict in my life... like my bestie or my husband!
These adorable cards were yet another creation made with Bubble Over, one of the fabulous stamp sets in the 2018 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue. This set is easily my favourite, and it's so versatile - this one stamp set has seen more use than all of the others combined, I think!
